Until We Meet Again.

I’m writing this now on our final train ride to Hamburg. There, we have a rental car pickup, which we will use to drive across and explore much more of this beautiful continent.

It’s been very melancholy these past few days. We’ve said goodbye to all our friends and colleagues here. We’ve packed all our things and had some crazy fun these last few hours—haha!

Hiding in the fields from the Fat Man hahaha

This time in the north of Germany has easily been the best period of my life. In many ways, it saved me. After the literal hell that was my experience in New York City, this time gave me a place to call home, friends to spend it with, and, as a result, memories that I’ll hold dear for the rest of my life.

However, all good things must come to an end. Johanna and I wish to keep moving onward with our journey and our goal to explore the world. So much more is out there waiting to be explored and experienced; one need only reach out and take it. So, with a very heavy heart, this chapter is closed.

“I suppose in the end, the whole of life is an act of letting go. But what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye”

— Pi

Someday we plan to return. This place is too significant in our lives not to someday return to. Until then, the adventure continues.

Danke für alles, TSH.
